How do we pair?
One of you opens "Pair" and shares the 6-character code (or the invite link). The other enters the code in their app. Done.
My code does not work.
Codes are valid for 24 hours; after that the app creates a new one automatically. Case does not matter; similar characters such as 0/O and 1/I never appear in codes.
We unpaired. Can we get our data back?
Yes, for 90 days. One of you taps "Restore", the other confirms, and everything is back. After 90 days the couple data is deleted.
Do we both need to buy Plus?
No. One pays, both get Plus while you are paired. The yearly plan starts with 7 free days (new subscribers only).
How do I cancel Plus?
In the App Store or Google Play, not in the app. Exact steps: How to cancel.
New phone. How do I get Plus back?
Sign in with Apple or Google (More → Back up account), then tap "Restore purchases" on the Plus screen.
How do I export our data?
More → Export data. You get a ZIP file with all answers (also as a PDF book) and your photos. The link is valid for 7 days.
How do I delete my account?
More → Delete account. Details: Delete account.
I get no notifications.
Check the Notifications section under More in the app and allow notifications for Turtelei in your phone's system settings. Battery savers can delay notifications.
