Terms of use

Last updated: 8 November 2026. The German version is the legally binding one.

1. What Turtelei is

Turtelei is an app for couples: one question every day, shared answers, a little turtledove and a shared book. Provider: Weenja Solution (OPC) Private Limited (see imprint).

2. Account

On first launch the app creates a device account. You can optionally link it with Sign in with Apple or Google to restore it on a new device. An account can be paired with exactly one person at a time. You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Content

Your answers and content belong to you. You are responsible for what you write and upload, and you treat your partner with respect. We do not read your content unless the law requires it. We only store and transmit your content to provide the service.

4. Turtelei Plus

PlanPrice (incl. VAT)
Turtelei Plus monthly€3.99 per month
Turtelei Plus yearly€24.99 per year, first 7 days free (new subscribers only)
Turtelei Plus forever€49.99 once

Prices for Germany. In other countries the store shows the price in your currency.

How to cancel

Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Plus continues until the end of the paid period. Request refunds from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play.

5. Pebbles, gems and themes

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Turtelei running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may develop and change features as long as the core of the service and paid benefits remain. We announce significant changes to these terms in the app.

7. Termination and account deletion

You can stop using Turtelei at any time and delete your account in the app (More → Delete account; see Delete account). We may suspend accounts for serious breaches of these terms.

8. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded as far as the law allows.

9. Applicable law

German law applies. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually live.
